Missy Weininger currently serves as the Vice Provost for Academic Engagement & Student Success at Tiffin University. Missy has made higher education her career for over 20 years, getting her start in Collegiate Athletics coaching softball, women’s basketball and volleyball, a former faculty member in the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation, and the Assistant Director in the Office of Graduate Student Advising before transitioning to the Office of the Registrar. Additionally, within her 15 years at TU, Student Success, Academic Support and Recovery, and First-Year programs have reported to Missy.
As a member of OACRAO, Missy has served on the Records and Registration Committee and the Bylaws Committee. She also serves as a CROSSWAEH Community-Based Correctional Facility Governing board member, was a member of the inaugural Tiffin University Building Cultural Competencies in Organizations lecture series and was elected as the Tiffin University Staff Assembly (TUSA) Representative to the Tiffin University Board of Trustees (2016-2017).
Missy earned her MBA from Heidelberg University and a Bachelor of Education degree from Bowling Green State University, where she was a 4-year letter winner in softball. She and her husband, Joe, reside in Tiffin with their 5 children, Rylie, twins Bryce and Brayden, Luke, Morgan, and their dog, Sadie.
