The Tiffin University Alumni Awards were instituted to honor TU alumni for outstanding achievements. The Alumni Achievement Award and the Young Alumni Achievement Award will be presented at Commencement. This approach will provide the perfect opportunity to showcase not only the contributions made by the recipients, but also, the Universityís commitment to its alumni.

The ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT AWARD is presented to honor outstanding alumni for their achievements, leadership and contributions to their profession or field of study, their community, and their alma mater, evidenced by a lifetime effort to uphold the ideals of Tiffin University.
To be eligible for the Alumni Achievement Award, a person must be a graduate of Tiffin University with an associateís, bachelorís, or masterís degree, and must have received the degree at least 10 years prior to being nominated for the award. The alumnus must be living at the time of selection. The recipient must be present on campus to receive the award, barring any extenuating circumstances. Alumni who are current employees of Tiffin University are eligible for nomination. Unless there is a compelling reason to merit an exception, only one award will be given each year.
The YOUNG ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT AWARD is presented to honor the achievements of young alumni whose lives exemplify high principles, and who are outstanding leaders in their profession and community, bringing honor to Tiffin University, and demonstrating promise of further distinction.
To be eligible for the Young Alumni Achievement Award, a person must demonstrate the highest standards of professional and personal ethics in dedicated service to their profession, and display strong personal integrity and character. Nominees must illustrate volunteer service to their community and society, have graduated from Tiffin University within the last ten years, be less than 35 years of age, and hold a Tiffin University bachelorís degree. The recipient must be present on campus to receive the award, barring any extenuating circumstances. Alumni who are current employees of Tiffin University are not eligible for nomination.
To be considered for the awards, an individual must first be nominated. Nominations can be offered by anyone except the person being nominated. All nominations must be received in the Office of Alumni Relations by the designated deadline. As noted, the recipient must be present on campus to receive the award, barring any extenuating circumstances.
