Bethani works with students in all phases of their career journey. Whether it’s guidance on what major or career path is the right fit for you, or if you’re getting ready to apply to internships, jobs, or graduate school, Bethani can help. Bethani has worked in career services in higher education for over nine years and is excited to be back at her alma mater. She graduated from Tiffin University in 2016 with her Masters of Humanities, and in 2013 with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication, with a minor in Creative Writing. Bethani loves her two dogs, Dobby and Peter, and is attempting to kayak in all 50 states – 12 down, and 38 to go!

Matthew has over five years of experience working in the realm of higher education, both through teaching and administrative roles. He first joined the Dragon family in November of 2021 as the Public Relations Writer with the Office of Marketing and Communications, and has since shifted gears and entered the world of career coaching. He is also a part-time English faculty member within the School of Creative and Media Arts.

He has extensive experience in the areas of student mentorship and teaching, as well as in the practice and impartation of academic / professional writing and public speaking skills. He is grateful for the opportunity to share this knowledge with TU students looking to bolster job application materials and effectively market their skills to employers. He is also excited to develop and maintain relationships with employers and other career services professionals, as well as be a liaison between the institution and its accreditation / grant committees – all for the purpose of advocating for his students.

Matthew earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communication from Muskingum University in 2018, and his Master of Fine Arts degree in English and Creative Writing from Butler University in 2021.

As a Graduate Assistant for Career services, Amarachi is responsible for vetting and posting career and internship opportunities, researching current career-ready tools, and keeping the resources new and relevant for use in career coaching sessions. Amarachi assists with special programming and projects such as career fairs, training sessions, classroom presentations, and other programming initiatives. Outside of work she loves traveling to different places to experience different cultures and make new friends.
