Jessica (Schult) Phillips, you have been selected for this week’s #TiffinTuesdays as one of the selections for this year’s Hall of Fame class. When you attended TU, and what did you study?
I graduated in 2007 with a degree in marketing management.

Why did you choose Tiffin University?
Most of my scholarship offers were in basketball, but my heart was always in volleyball. Tiffin was one of the first schools to make me an offer for volleyball. I visited and loved the campus and coaching staff.

What activities were you involved in while attending TU?
Volleyball, attending and supporting other sporting events!

Do you have a favorite campus memory or person?
Closest friends were my volleyball girls I played with from day 1 on varsity, as a freshman through my senior year. Amber Metzgar, Holly Morgan Bullock, Rachel DeRoeck, and Kelly Hanlon. We all stuck together on and off the court!

What does being a Tiffin University graduate mean to you?
It’s more than just a degree, it’s the lifelong friendships and contacts I made the four years at Tiffin, and the comfort of knowing I will be a dragon for life!

Where are you employed and what is your job title and responsibilities?
Poplar Healthcare, Senior Regional Sales Director. I am Responsible for sales and servicing new and existing accounts in North Texas and Oklahoma for a specialized anatomic pathology lab in Oncology, women’s health, GI, Dermatology and Urology.

What do you like most about your job/career?
I love meeting new people and forming new bonds on a daily basis. Every day is different and fun not knowing what challenge/reward each day will bring. It is very exciting knowing we are changing hundreds of patients’ lives daily.

Are you involved in any community/volunteer clubs?
We started a Buckeyes alumni club in northeast Dallas, and I volunteer coaching volleyball.

What do you feel is your greatest accomplishment/what are you most proud of?
My family. I met my husband, Chris Phillips, who wrestled at Heidelberg, and my two amazing little girls; Cali is 6 and Chloe is 2 years old.
