Kristina, you have been selected for this week’s #TiffinTuesdays as one of the selections for this year’s Hall of Fame class. When you attended TU, and what did you study?
I received a bachelor’s degree in sports management.

Why did you choose Tiffin University?
I chose TU for the opportunity to play softball at the collegiate level and for my preferred area of study in sports management. I did not find many schools with the program and was very happy with TU after my first visit. I picked to attend because it felt like home.

Do you have a favorite campus memory or person?
My favorite memory was winning the Regional Softball Tournament and getting the opportunity to represent TU at the National Tournament my senior year.

What does being a Tiffin University graduate mean to you?
I am a proud alum of TU for so many reasons! Being a TU graduate means that I received a top notch academic and athletic experience. I am fortunate that TU appreciates the importance of the athletic experience alongside of the demanding academic rigor.

Where are you employed and what is your job title and responsibilities?
I work at Adrian College as the Registrar.

What do you like most about your job/career?
I enjoy that I get to interact with students at all stages of their higher education experience. I get to work with students who are starting their journey and also ones that are finishing! I love that I can share experiences from college and help them to be successful.

What advice would you give a student looking into your career?
One piece of advice that I would give to anyone looking in to Higher Education would be to go to graduate school and gain experience in a variety of different offices. I did not start my career in administration but I have found my niche through networking and volunteering for a variety of committees to see what options are out there.

What do you feel is your greatest accomplishment/what are you most proud of?
The greatest accomplishment is becoming a mom. I feel as though I have achieved a lot in a short time, but I will always be most proud to be a mom!
