Tiffin University honored Magnus Terra Company, a small real estate investment group, for their philanthropic efforts on June 13 with a ceremony and ribbon cutting. The area behind TU’s Main Classroom Building has been named the Magnus Terra Commons and features new patio furniture, TU cornhole boards and new landscaping. The area will serve as a student gathering area for nearby residence halls.
Magnus Terra was founded in 1995 as a real estate and philanthropic investment group. The company has donated more than $750,000 to Tiffin organizations, particularly Tiffin University and the Salvation Army.
“I am most proud that our group responded quickly when asked to help,” said Craig Zimmers, Magnus Terra’s president. “I believe we had a high impact on Tiffin University.”
Past and present members who were honored are: Craig L. Zimmers, President, Joseph A. Granata, Past President, Michael A. Grandillo, Richard A. Focht, Gary E. Dickerson, Leonard J. Clouse, the late Kenneth L. Darmour, Anthony J. Paradiso and Anthony J. Paulus.
