TU to Host 27th International Dinner

Event date: Saturday, March 17, 2018

“Wherever you go, whatever you do, may the luck of the Irish be there with you” is the theme of Tiffin University’s 27th International Dinner, to be held on Saturday, March 17, in the Heminger Center. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 each.

TU celebrates 350 international students who represent over 28 countries. The International Dinner is a popular tradition at the University, providing a unique opportunity for international and American students to share their heritage with the campus and the Tiffin community through food, arts and entertainment.

According to Dr. Carol McDannell, director of international student services, the dinner will feature a variety of cuisines from across the globe through dishes created from recipes submitted by students and employees of Tiffin University.

“Entertainment will feature the diverse talents of our own international students,” McDannell said. “Included are a variety of acts from TU’s Music Department and other special guest entertainers throughout the evening.” There will also be a fashion show, magician, TU photo booth, cultural activities and a silent auction.

Space is limited and tickets traditionally sell out quickly. Tickets are $15 per person and are available for purchase online.
