Peer Assisted Learning (PAL)
Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) is a series of weekly review sessions. PAL is for faculty requested courses only (not all sections will have a PAL). Students who want to improve their understanding of course materials should attend these sessions. Attendance is voluntary, but is highly recommended. PAL sessions are a chance to get together with people in your class to compare notes, discuss important concepts, and develop strategies for studying. At each session you will be guided through the material by your PAL Leader, a competent student who has previously taken the course.
Each PAL Leader will set up two (2) sessions a week for one hour each. You can attend one or two sessions a week (the choice is yours). PAL is a learning enhancement program designed to organize and improve ways in which students prepare for class outside of class.
